With 27 years of experience in Real Estate Private Equity, M&A, structured credit, and business management, Mr. Lima has been at the helm of HSI since inception. He is responsible for the firm’s strategic planning and for the real estate investment strategy. He has coordinated over 100 transactions, including the creation of logistics platform CLB and its subsequent sale to GLP, at the time the largest real estate transaction in Brazilian history.
Mr. Lima began his career in hedge funds in 1997, then joined investment bank Wassertein Perella & Co. and participated in the management buyout of the emerging markets division in 1999. He returned to Brazil in 2000 and was responsible for structuring the first securitization operations for Rio Bravo, at the time a new player in Brazilian finance. In 2003, he founded the real estate division of GP Investimentos with two partners, the group that became Prosperitas in 2005 and subsequently HSI in 2012.
Mr. Lima has a bachelors degree in economics from the University of Chicago, and is holds active CGA and CGE certifications from ANBIMA.

With 29 years of experience in corporate management, real estate finance, structuring, and execution, Mr. Ariaz has been at HSI since 2012 and is responsible for financial planning, with a focus on funds under management and portfolio companies. He monitors each investment through boards of directors and coordinates compliance and risk management for the firms and its funds, endorsing each transaction.
Prior to joining HSI, he structured and originated over BRL 2 billion in real estate finance transactions and was responsible for developing the largest logistics platform in Brazil at the time, while actively contributing to the professionalization of the Brazilian real estate financing market. He was a partner and CFO of Bracor Investimentos Imobiliários, and Director of Structured Finance and Asset Management at Brazilian Capital.
Mr. Ariaz has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and earned his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School. He holds active CGA and CGE certifications from ANBIMA.

At HSI since 2007, Mr. Greve participated in the execution of most of the firm’s track-record including the sale of CLB to GLP in 2012 for BRL 2.9 billion. He is currently responsible for origination, developing investment theses, and leading cross-disciplinary teams in analyzing, negotiating, structuring, and executing transactions and joint ventures. He has been involved in over BRL 3 billion in investments and is currently responsible for managing assets totaling BRL 4.5 billion. He is responsible for managing relationships with operating partners and senior management of operating companies and participates actively on boards of directors.
Prior to joining HSI, Mr. Greve worked at Value Partners and e-commerce company Submarino, in logistics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA from Insead. He holds active CGA and CGE certifications from ANBIMA.

With 36 years of experience in development, engineering, asset management, and investment due diligence, Mr. Tagliapietra has been at HSI since 2011. He leads the engineering and development team, and has overseen construction of of over three million sqm including: Parque da Cidade, Faria Lima Plaza, ECO Sapucaí, Pátio Cianê Shopping, Shopping Manaus ViaNorte, Bossa Nova Mall, Ecopark Curitiba, more than ten self-storage operations, and nine hotels. He contributes to feasibility analyses for investments, management of construction contracts, asset maintenance, and property management.
Prior to joining HSI, Mr. Tagliapietra was responsible for large developments representing over 1.3 million sqm, including: Hopi Hari theme park, Galeria Campinas and Praça da Moça shopping centers, Cidade Jardim JHSF residential complex, Boa Vista luxury residential development, and warehouses for Caterpillar and Romi Industries.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidade Paulista and holds an active CGE certification from ANBIMA.

At HSI since 2006, Mr. Gaiad participated in various transaction, leading the REPE investment team through analysis, negotiations, investment management, and divestment. His track record includes: the successful development of the ECO Berrini high-rise office building (LEED Platinum, São Paulo); the acquisition of a portfolio of warehouses from Bracor Investimentos Imobiliários and its subsequent sale to GLP (largest real estate transaction in Brazil at the time); the formation of a joint venture with Alqia and its subsequent growth; and the creation of GoodStorage. In 2019, he founded a practice focused on managing listed real estate funds, launched by the BRL 675 million IPO of HSI Malls, the largest offering in the retail sector at the time. He currently manages three listed funds representing a market capitalization of over BRL 4 billion.
Prior to joining HSI, Mr. Gaiad worked as a trader in the treasury divisions of Bozano Simonsen and Bank of America, operating on behalf of global clients.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from PUC Rio de Janeiro and a master’s degree in finance from Cass Business School. He holds an active CGE certification from ANBIMA.

Mr. Gadelho began his career in the real estate division of GP Investimentos in 2005 and was part of the founding team of Prosperitas Investimentos (now HSI), where he remained until 2007. He returned to HSI in 2019 to establish a mortgage practice. His responsibilities include origination, analysis, negotiations, structuring, execution, and portfolio management. Before returning to HSI, Mr. Gadelho was an executive at Rothschild & Co. where he participated in over USD 20 billion in M&A transactions.
He earned his bacherlor’s degree in business administration from Universidade de São Paulo. He holds active CGA and CGE certifications from ANBIMA.

Mr. Youssef has been with HSI since 2017, initially as Director of Operations at Alqia, the shopping center operator focused on HSI’s retail portfolio, until assuming the helm in 2020. His prior experience in retail includes working in the finance and leasing departments at Ecisa and at brMalls as a superintendant and portfolio manager. In 2012, he became a partner at ARGO where he was responsible for managing and leasing the assets under management.
He earned his bacherlor’s degree in civil and industrial engineering from PUC Rio de Janeiro, an MBA in corporate finance from IBMEC, and an MBA in shopping center management from FGV-RJ.
