HSI’s foray into the hospitality sector began in 2013 through HSI Real Estate IV, with the acquisition of Arco, a portfolio of ten hotels representing 1,100 keys throughout the state of Sao Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on HSI’s success in the sector, we developed an additional nine hotels in various states under the flag Zii Hot\u00e9is, addition 900 keys to the portfolio. Doispontozero Hot\u00e9is, a hospitality operator, was established to ensure the active management of HSI’s hotel portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February 2018, HSI reached an agreement with AccorHotels, a global leader in hospitality, and Atrio Hot\u00e9is, a Brazilian operator of over 50 hotels, to reflag the HSI portfolio with the Ibis Styles brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During 2020, we returned to the sector with the acquisition of Hilton Morumbi (SP), an upscale and iconic hotel in S\u00e3o Paulo, following a long bidding process involving all major players in the real estate market. HSI’s interest in the asset was driven largely by its prime location in S\u00e3o Paulo, the primary hospitality market in Brazil, and its consistent operating history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A HSI iniciou sua trajet\u00f3ria no segmento hoteleiro a partir da cria\u00e7\u00e3o do fundo de real estate private equity<\/em>, HSI Real Estate IV (2013), quando realizou a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o do portf\u00f3lio de 10 hot\u00e9is da Arco, espalhados pelo interior de S\u00e3o Paulo, e que juntos somavam 1.100 quartos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Com o sucesso da tese da HSI no segmento, desenvolvemos mais 9 hot\u00e9is em diferentes estados brasileiros sob a bandeira Zii Hot\u00e9is, que somaram mais 900 quartos ao portf\u00f3lio da HSI. A partir da\u00ed, foi criada a plataforma doispontozero hot\u00e9is<\/em>, garantindo uma gest\u00e3o genuinamente ativa destes empreendimentos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em fevereiro de 2018 a HSI firmou uma parceria com a AccorHotels, l\u00edder no mercado mundial de experi\u00eancias hoteleiras, e com a Atrio Hot\u00e9is, operadora de mais de 50 hot\u00e9is, para levar a marca \u00edbis Styles aos hot\u00e9is que pertencem ao portf\u00f3lio da companhia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em 2020 voltamos ao mercado para adquirir o Hilton Morumbi (SP), hotel de alto padr\u00e3o e \u00edcone da cidade de S\u00e3o Paulo, ap\u00f3s longo processo de concorr\u00eancia entre os principais players do mercado imobili\u00e1rio. Os principais motivos que levaram a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o do ativo foram a sua localiza\u00e7\u00e3o privilegiada na cidade de S\u00e3o Paulo, principal polo hoteleiro do Brasil, e seu hist\u00f3rico de alta performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
